Your server is under attack. Hold off the flood — and remember: one click on a phishing link and your controls are not your own.

// Know your enemy
What's attacking you.
- SYN SYN packet · 10
- A SYN flood opens thousands of half-finished TCP connections until the server can't accept real ones. They don't shoot — there are just a lot of them.
- ✉ Phishing email · 20
- Drops hooks. Get hit and your controls flip for two seconds — like clicking a link and handing someone else the wheel.
- ☣ Malware · 40
- Takes three hits and fires payloads. If it reaches the server it does serious damage — that's what persistence looks like.
- C2 C2 server · 150
- The command-and-control server steering the botnet. Take it down and it always drops a power-up.
// Your defences
Power-ups.
- RATE LIMIT
- Caps how fast traffic is accepted — everything slows to 40% for 8 seconds. Real rate limiting is the first answer to floods.
- WAF
- A web application firewall in front of you that blocks three incoming shots. Good at known-bad patterns, not a full strategy.
- LOAD BALANCER
- Spreads your fire across three lanes for 8 seconds — more capacity, same server.
- PATCH
- Restores 20% uptime. Apply patches before the attackers find the hole.
